Physical activity is essential for everyone, and for those living with Parkinson’s disease, exercise becomes even more crucial. Our PD Warrior® exercise program is designed to enhance your fitness and boost your strength, empowering you to embrace life with greater confidence.
PD Warrior® is not like regular gym workouts, taking walks, or swimming. While those are good for overall fitness, people with Parkinson’s disease need exercises that are tailored to their specific needs for better physical movement and functionality.
At Royal Rehab Private Ryde, we’re proud to offer the PD Warrior® Parkinson’s exercise program as part of our comprehensive rehabilitation. This well-known program, done in a group setting, addresses both physical and cognitive symptoms of Parkinson’s disease in an enjoyable and social way.
The PD Warrior® program is special because it combines exercises for both your body and your brain. This helps your brain to adapt, which is great for improving how your body moves and slowing down the worst symptoms of Parkinson’s disease. No matter if you’ve recently been diagnosed or it’s been a while, if you’re living with Parkinson’s, give our PD Warrior® program a go. It’s not just about getting stronger and fitter – it’s also a chance to be part of a unique and supportive community.
